Welcome to a group of women who's goal is to encourage each other to put down some serious roots in the Word of God. This blog is dedicated to reading through the Bible in a year. Hopefully you will find the encouragement and accountability here that you need to push through the tough parts- or when life just gets in the way. The reading plan is located at the bottom of the blog. It contains links to the passages we are reading through biblegateway.com. You can use those links or read your own Bible, whichever you prefer.

GIVEAWAY!!

I'm always hesitant to post "extra" posts not related to the days reading, just because I don't want to take away from what this blog's main purpose is- reading the Bible. So, please make sure you read Ms. Boots excellent post from today!
I hope you all are still enjoying reading through the Bible. I'm still learning so much and am really enjoying it for myself. I know we're a good way into this process, and the "new" excitement has started to wear off. Maybe you have missed a few readings and are feeling like you can't catch up. Where ever you are in your readings, whatever your current mindset, I hope and pray that you press on! If you feel like you can't catch up, just jump back in where we are. Or, maybe you're new to this blog. Please, just jump in with us! There's still so much God has to tell you about himself through His word. I don't want you to miss out!
Which brings me to this post- and why I'm writing it. We want to re-energize you! AND, encourage your comments. Sooo.....

    I have been reading along some. I haven't been able to participate daily, but I am trying to jump in now where I left off reading last year. I got bogged down in Leviticus! God is good at giving us second chances.
